Today more than ever..

Today more than ever I just want to remind you your happiness is built within.

Today more than ever I want us to remember that nobody else is responsible for our inner peace but ourselves. No other person, no body of power, no authority, no government.. not the most powerful corporation in the world has the ability to take away our inner light.

Every one of us has the power to create our own world. Inside of each of us is a divine place which no other person has the ability to affect. Once we learn to connect deeply to our centre, our internal and eternal happiness; everything that happens outside of us is just that. . . External. Momentary.

Our happiness depends upon our love for ourself.. we have to prioritise ourselves and to learn to connect to our truest self. Once we do that we can easily establish that which brings us happiness and that which does not. The rest is simple... create space for more of the good and eliminate that which does not serve us.
Just as I teach on the mat.... holding onto tension will only create pain. we have to learn to let go. Similarly, in life, we have to learn to let go of these daily tests, the worries and stresses and create space to let in lightness and goodness.

Attaching ourselves so much to what is happening outside of our inner world can be very detrimental to our wellbeing.. Most of these matters are things that are have little power over. It is good to be informed and to be aware of what is happening and to do what is physically possible to help, but moaning all day long to each other about it is simply not productive to anything.. all this does is create negative energy. Instead, at times like this I think our biggest priority should be to do the opposite.. To love. To spread good energy. To come together and focus on prioritising our inner world, our inner peace. That is where our happiness is formed, that is what we manifest.

Find what creates you daily happiness, the little things..
Wake up ten minutes early, make a cup of tea and go back to bed.. Turn off your phone. Smile at the people that make your coffee. Connect with those that lift you up. Don't be afraid to tell them you love them. Leave notes in your lovers pocket. Create smiles. Get enough sleep. Be kind to yourself. Listen to your body, move it when it has energy, rest when you need to rest. Eat proper food and include more living green foods... fill your body with life not death. Say something nice to yourself every day. Create time-out for yourself. Get in nature. Keep it simple. Be open. Love and be loved.
